I am Talisa Effinger and I am a Black womanist. I’m from a small town in Central Virginia and moved to South Carolina to pursue a degree in Sociology. I am currently a senior Sociology major with a concentration in Social Justice and a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. I have two loving dogs, Luna and Kilo, who are my whole world. I would describe myself as a mix between Angela Davis and Freddie Mercury. I am very excited to be a guest panelist.

My name is Brianna Martin! I am a Junior at Coastal Carolina University. I am majoring in Sociology with a concentration in Social Justice and minor in pre-law. I am involved in many different organizations on campus including, SGA, Phi Alpha Delta, Civic Engagement. I also consider myself a woman who fights for justice in any regard.
